Many great things happened here: I made life long friends, met my marvellous husband and worked in one of the most unforgettable department stores, Boswells of Oxford. I visit Oxford a lot as we have family there, but also because it's simply the most magical of places. I often reminisce over my university days, wandering around the colleges and the Pitt River's museum, pretending to be Lyra in Philip Pullman's The Northern Lights, spending my summers in the botanical gardens...the pubs are also fantastic! Happy, nostalgic times. It was always on my list to draw with magnificent place as the architecture alone is simply stunning.
