Inspired by the wonderful Philip Pullman trilogy, His Dark Materials. I studied and lived in Oxford for three years and fell in love with the botanical gardens. I cried reading the end of The Northern Lights Trilogy and this is now one of my happy places.

Will and Lyra sit with their daemons on the bench in the gardens on Midsummer’s Day. I’m still waiting for the alternative ending…
