I used to live in the market town of Oundle, right in the middle of the market place. I still reminisce over Thursday market days and the occasional Saturday specialty markets. Also, the Oundle school children hurrying from one building to the next and queuing outside of the butchers for their deli rolls! Happy, nostalgic times. I knew I had to draw this town as soon as I moved there with my family.
